1. Measure the room and delivery route
Measure the intended location and the full route from the delivery point. Include doors, hallways, stairs, elevators, corners, and any threshold the packaged station must pass through.
- Choose a stable, level floor suitable for a wet area.
- Allow working room around the basin, frame, water connections, drain hose, and future service points.
- Keep a clear path for the caregiver and the dog.
- If the selected configuration uses the separate ladder, allow enough dry, level floor space to align it with the front entry.

2. Inspect the delivered components

3. Dry-position and level the station

4. Connect water and drainage correctly
The product images show the station-side mixer, handheld sprayer, underside drain assembly, and black corrugated drain hose. They do not establish building-side connector sizes, drain slope, venting, backflow requirements, or an approved outdoor installation. A qualified plumber should follow the matching manual and local code.
- Protect finished surfaces while connections are made.
- Route the drain hose so it is not crushed, sharply kinked, or placed where it creates a trip hazard.
- Keep service connections accessible for inspection.
- Do not identify the black corrugated hose as a dryer hose; it is shown connected to the drain assembly.
5. Confirm the bathing platform and entry setup
The supplied imagery shows an open-basin configuration for a larger dog and a raised black slotted platform for a smaller dog. It does not prove the adjustment mechanism, number of positions, or load rating. Install or reposition the platform only as described in the product manual.
6. Run a no-dog water test
Before the first bath, run water with the basin empty. Test the mixer and handheld sprayer, then inspect visible connections for leaks. 10. Know when to stop and call a professional
Stop using the station if the frame moves, the ladder becomes unstable, a connection leaks, the drain backs up, a hose or fitting is damaged, or hardware needed for safe entry becomes loose.
